On the 27th of November all the year sixes went for a fun day at RAINBOWS END. These are the rides that I went on gold rush, log floom, invader, stratisfeir, fear fall, powerserge and corkscrew rollercoster. Here are some photos.

Cultural Festival 2019

On Saturday 23rd of November Owairaka and a lot of other schools went their but we had the most groups. I was in the Niuean group and I really enjoyed being in the Nuiean group because I thing the dances were really cool and we got to use spears. Here are some photos from the Cultural Festival.

My writing for week 5 term 4

Last week I did a paragraph called The deep. The special sentence I had to do is Something was lurking beneath me. We have been learning to make more descriptive sentences. I really enjoyed doing this writing because I think this picture was really easy to write and describe about. This is the writing that I did.

Today Kauri team went to see Richie Patterson. Richie Patterson does Weightlifting he has been to three commonwealth games and two Olympic games. Richie Patterson tolled us about 3 Olympic values they were Friendship, Respect and Excellence.

Day 3: The Ghostly Shadow

Foolishly, I am taking off in a plane about to go sky diving my heart was pounding like drums. We are up in the air now. Suddenly, the driver shouts "JUMP!" Straight away I am pushed out of the plane. Quickly I pull out my parachute. The next thing I know I am being pushed by the wind I am floating above a haunted graveyard. Suddenly, a flash of light strikes right in front of me I look up and there is a hole in my parachute. I am falling to the ground suddenly I feel my stomach get pushed in I felt like I was going to faint. I got up then I saw a shadow it started to giggle I got more and more scared then zombies started to come out of the ground. They all screamed as they fell into ashes then the ghost flew towards me then went right through me... 

The Icy Escape

Nervously the husky's struggled to cross the slippery icy lake. They were pulling a strange man dressed in fury black clothes, Behind him was a knight and the armour was painted black. Suddenly the ice started to crack the husky's sped up then water came shooting out of the lake. The knight shot an arrow at him but it missed. More and more arrows shot the more the lake cracked. suddenly the lake cracked in front of him...   

Art exhibition

For the art exhibition we chose the type of art that Pablo Picasso does. We did 2d shape and a 3d shape of art. I really liked doing this type of art because there is no right or wrong way to do it.
